I’m Seitebogo Peta - I’m both founder and chairperson for a health and social nonprofit organisation that works with patients affected by the cleft and craniofacial defects condition . In my work , I not only raise funds and awareness - but I also do some advocacy work while giving children the chance to smile by giving them free reconstructive surgery and post surgery treatment

In my work I have been nominated as a Social Founder of the Year amongst candidates in several countries in the African continent in 2022 , have also been selected as one of the South Africans doing great things by a Primedia outlet in 2023 and have recently been awarded at the Mail & Guardian Top 200 Young South African 2024 in the civil society category . The topics of interest for my talks are in : positivity in the face of adversity , mental health challenges and overcoming them , social change and justice in civil society , personal development and confidence building , corporate social responsibility and its impact . I have worked with The University of Pretoria and the Department of Health and have engaged in several radio and television interviews.
