If you thought there was a lot more to this enigmatic woman than her wickedly infectious laugh, you’d be absolutely right!

Philicity is an actress, voice artist, radio host, MC, presenter, and all-round entertainer. As she says herself, “I have many skills – most of them unnecessary, but hilarious…”

Her comedy skills have been evident in her leading role as Amanda Mbuli in the M-Net sitcom Coconuts and her dramatic abilities have been on show in various series, such as The Mating Game, Isidingo, Scandal, and Jozi H. She also starred in Binnelanders as Busi, yes, she is completely bilingual too!

When she was part of the award-winning breakfast show on 947, it was her wit, warmth, plenty of quirks, and a deep, velvety voice that the listeners fell in love with.

This lady can definitely think on her feet (often saying exactly what everybody else was thinking)!

Apart from live radio, she is also comfortable as a TV presenter. Whether it’s a cooking show or a daytime talk show, Philicity is always engaging and at ease. From Mindset Health and Mindset Primary on DStv, the Urban Brew production Lifestyle, Erfkos, and Binnekring on Via, Great Expectations on e.tv to Trapsuutjies on Kyknet, she brings her unique flair and charm wherever she goes.

She was a celebrity contestant on the M-Net reality competition Survivor South Africa: the Maldives, in 2011 and she survived…barely! Clearly her skills are not confined to one genre and she is always keen for a challenge. If a vivacious, adventurous, intelligent, funny, and quick thinking MC is what you’re looking for, then Philicity is your lady!

She captured the hearts and minds of the WIMPY team on a 7 show country-wide roadshow and as MC for the 2 day Japan-Africa public-private forum convention held at the Sandton Convention Centre. Welcoming guests such as ministers, dignitaries, and CEO’S from Japan and Africa and including introducing panellists such as President Cyril Ramaphosa, Philicity gave the event the gravitas it deserved.

Currently, she is an on-air presenter on Jacaranda FM, on the Scenic Drive with Rian.

As well as hosting her own show on a Saturday’s 12-4 pm
