Armed with two guitars and a poignant vocal interpretation of timeless swing-jazz classics and African jazz standards, the Jozi jazz duo endears listeners to its sophisticated and rich sound.Their repertoire consists of carefully selected jazz standards that range from well-known atmospheric ballads such as ‘autumn leaves’ and ‘njilo njilo’ to foot-tapping up-tempo classics such as ‘cheek to cheek’, and ‘All of me’. Noosi’s skillful and versatile guitar playing has led to performances with the likes of Gloria Bosman, Louis Mhlanga and Moses Khumalo. Laurie performs regularly in and around South Africa as well as internationally.
