We will get back to you shortly Event details Kabelo Violinist Gauteng Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. Kabelo started his music tuition in 1997 at the age of 10 at Buskaid in Soweto. As a teenager he travelled the world and collaborated with distinguished orchestras around Europe and the United States. He had the privilege to play with The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and The English Baroque Soloists conducted by John Elliot Gardner. At the age of 19 he went to further his studies at The Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester where he completed his Higher Diploma in Music under Jonathan Morton who is the Artistic Director/leader of the Scottish Ensemble and performances as a leader for the BBC Symphony orchestra, London Sinfonietta and other orchestras. Since his come back from Manchester in 2009 he has been freelancing with orchestras from Johannesburg and Durban, teaching music at local institutions and Private schools. Kabelo is a former member of the Diamond Quartet, which has been involved in big festivals like the National Arts festival in Grahamstown and Festival Culturel International De Musique Symphonique in Algeria. Kabelo Motlhomi is a constant performer; whether it is in an orchestra, solo artist, session/recording artist or collaboration with other artists. He prides himself in his professionalism, dedication and high standard of performance. He regularly performs with all the major orchestras in Johannesburg like the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Johannesburg Festival Orchestra, Johannesburg Music Initiative and occasionally gets invited to play with the KwaZulu-Natal Philharmonic in Durban. As a freelance musician and recording artist he has worked or collaborated with Bra Hugh Masekela at the Market theatre in 2010 “Songs of Migration” and Sibongile Khumalo celebrating 20 years of enriching the country with her music. To add to long list of artists are Tshepo Mngoma and Gloria Bosman, Bala Brothers, Judith Sephuma and Zahara, Swazi Dlamini, Black coffee, Kent, Khuli Chana, HHP, Kwesta and many others. As a soloist and concertmaster Kabelo has toured Europe and the United States with Buskaid. The Biggest highlight in his career was in 2013 when he was asked to play at the premiere of Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom held in Johannesburg.

We will get back to you shortly Event details Gauteng Zosukum'izizwe George Ntuli biography (zosthedj). I am commonly known as Zos & born in 1992. I started music at the age of ten at a local music school in Soweto, Wessom. At eleven, I took my first violin lesson at the school. When I was thirteen I attended my first Miagi camp where I met other young classical musicians from Pretoria, Bloemfontein , Cape Town & other parts of the country. At fourteen I went to Holy Family College where I met some members of the Buskaid Ensemble in Soweto then with a rising interest in classical music I went to the National School of the Arts where I took lessons with Maria Braco while there I completed my Abrsm grades 5,6,7 and 8 violin practical & theory 4,5 & 6.During my academic grade 10,I took extra violin lessons with Caius Opera. That year I applied and successfully played for the Eistedfords, Roedean Competition, Grahamstown Music competition, Phillip Moore competition & the National School of the Arts Classical Music competition. While at NSA I also played for the JPO Academy orchestra under Sonja Bass then after my matric I took lessons with Miro Chakaryan under the JPO’s Cadetship program. I left the cadetship, worked as a gigging musician & taught in Midrand at the Cape Gateway Church. I then played for the Gauteng Camerata under Kutlwano Masote for a year. In 2014 I joined the KZNPO’s Cadetship program. I then appeared as soloist with the Kznpo in 2015 playing the 1st mvt of Mendelssohn’s violin concerto in e minor. I taught violin for Wessom, Enlightened Music Project in Braamfontein.In Durban I taught for the Kznpo at the Lungisa Indlela Village (LIV) & Kwabazothini High School(Music theory using recorders).I am also a very keen performer & played a recital at the Sandton theatre on the square on the 25th of March 2017. In 2019 I joined the National School of the Arts at a part-time violin tutor where I taught until I left in 2021. In 2021 I joined Auckland Park Preparatory where I continue to teach violin & assist with the orchestra as a part-time violin tutor.In 2022,I attended the DJ CHRISTOS ACADEMY as I have always had an interest in dance music aswell.My set's include a lot of cover song's that I play on the violin & mix myself aswell.My DJ stage name is Zosthedj. I am currently working on a single & an EP which I am looking to release later mid year in 2023.I also continue to teach & work as a freelance violinist.
