As a musician, actor, writer and artist Lebo is the ultimate chameleon of music – constantly evolving his craft to the entertainment of his audiences. He studied Journalism at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, but in his own words “the news of the world are best reported by another” and he focused all his energy on music instead. Lebo honed and perfected his craft on the Barnyard Theatre circuit. However, Lebo is best known for fronting the rock, funk and trip-hop band, Voodoo Child. The band released an EP and a full-length album during their seven year grip on the SA music scene. Lebo’s more recent projects include working with internationally- acclaimed rapper, Tumi Molekane of Tumi and the Volume fame as part of his live band.

After graduating in 1993, he joined the Police Service and served for nine years, performing in film, TV and stage productions in the course of his work in law enforcement. He started work on SABC 3’s flagship daily drama Isidingo in 2002 and has since performed in numerous TV and film productions, including the heist action movie 31 Million Reasons for which he received a SAFTA nomination as ‘Best Lead Actor in a Feature Film’. His most recent feature film role was on Mayfair, which was an entrant at the London Film Festival in 2018. He has received numerous awards for his performances on TV and continues to build on the body of work that has earned him recognition on the African continent and beyond. Jack is an accomplished and versatile MC who enjoys regular bookings with private, corporate, and civil society clients. As a presenter, MC and facilitator, he has worked with the Nelson Mandela Foundation, the SAPS, banking institutions, casinos, telecommunications, and mining companies. Jack is as comfortable at blue-chip business breakfasts as he is at gala awards functions or motor vehicle launches. He guarantees client satisfaction by ensuring that the spirit of the occasion is consistent with the values and ethos of the company. Their harmonies are excellent, as are their basic acoustic versions of popular songs. While they haven't changed the music since they believe that classics were classics for a reason, this young ensemble connects with today's 25-plus market simply by being their peers. The Cover Up is bringing a degree of sophistication to their performance, following in the footsteps of young legends like Michael Buble, who made it "cool" to revisit old swing classics. The usual band is a four-piece consisting of keyboard, percussion, and violin, which allows them to play either a gentle background set or a somewhat more lively set... Vocal Harmony strives to achieve its goal of spreading a positive message through music and aims to do this through regular performances be it in church services, concerts, weddings and corporate functions alike. Their music can be described as acapella, with African, jazzy and at times choral elements.
