The Choir was founded to honour our nation's "Unity in Diversity" by exhibiting our cultures and customs in an intense performance accompanied by dance, ululating, and soaring shouts of Joy. We cooperated (recorded) and performed the 2010 FIFA theme song "Sign of a Victory" with R. Kelly at the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup Opening Ceremony in Johannesburg. We've been touring the UK and Europe for the past four years.We recently completed a soundtrack for the Broadway hit "The Lion King" with Mr. Lebo M. Soweto Spiritual Singers is an internationally acclaimed travelling production choir that has performed'sold out' shows around Europe, the United Kingdom, and Africa, establishing itself as one of South Africa's top vocal/choral outfits. This 22-person all-inclusive singing ensemble, along with a 5-piece band and African Dancers and Drummers, put on a stunning show of acrobatic dances and powerful African harmonies, producing a type of music known as 'World Music.'

We will get back to you shortly Event details Gauteng Simon comes from a commercial background, armed with a B.Comm Accounting from Wits University, he spent most of his university holidays and formative career years working with young entrepreneurs and small businesses. His passion for youth development began, also, in university where he Co-Founded and worked on a variety of young leadership development projects which furthered his passions for developing the next generation of leaders and inspiring people within his generation. His most notable programme was the Emalahleni Young Leader Development programme, which focused on the 4 main reasons why students dropped out of university. Using career development programmes and life-skills interventions, this programme assisted students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds in Emalahleni to be better prepared for university & find financial support where needed. This programme not only increased pass rates in some of the schools but also assisted certain students in obtaining funding for their tertiary studies. In 2011, Simon was asked to join the Co-Author team of Oxford University press, co-authoring the Grade 7-9 and 11 Life Orientation textbooks. This was due to his unique view on life principles and ability to translate them to young people. At last count, these textbooks had sold over 80 000 copies. In his current role Simon works with a variety of projects in the Young Leader Development space. He works with companies, state owned enterprises and professional bodies in furthering their young leader development objectives, both within and outside their companies. He has worked with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants on their Thuthuka Development Camp, Eskom Development Foundation, SABC Education and multi-nationals such as Ernst and Young, Investec, FNB and DHL, this is excluding his work at educational institutions. Many of these relationships are mutually beneficial relationships. Because of his collaborative spirit and his ability to serve his clients’ needs, he is asked to render his services in other spheres indirectly linked to his motivational talks. Curently she is better known as the stern but fair Commander Charmaine Williams on Generations: The Legacy. Megan has a degree in Musical Theatre (Cum Laude) from Tshwane University of Technology. She has sung and danced her way through iconic musicals such as HAIR, RENT, WE WILL ROCK YOU!, ASPECTS OF LOVE, EVITA and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. Megan made the transition from theatre to film with ease as Stacy in Rhythm City, Tessa Ford in Cambion Chronicles, Roxy in Magic Moves, Cindy in SHADOW on Netflix, the siren in Die Kuur and most recently as Mai Jayden on Working Wives and Karin Blignaut in “Yolanda Is Swanger”. With over 15 years of musical performance experience Themba Maseko, Thabiso Masemene and Simangaliso Thango form part of this magical trio that comes with different vocal timbres to create a magnificent harmonic melody that has won the hearts of many audiences. The group has made moves in the local and international opera, classical and musical theater scenes and have only just touched the surface. THABISO MASEMENE: started his formal voice training in 2004 with Mr Pierre du Toit with the Tshwane University of Technology. In 2005 he joined the Black Tie Ensemble where in the same year he understudied three roles by Donizetti, Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore, Ernesto in Don Pasquale and Renuccio in Gianni Schischi by Puccini; in 2006 he played his professional debut at The South African State Theatre performing, Beppe in I Pagliaci by Leoncavallo. Thabiso is also part of a successful group called the Gaabo- motho Tenors and has travelled to Germany and Uganda, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Nigeria. In 2007 he went back to study at Tshwane University of Technology and graduated Cum Laude in his National Diploma certificate, then completed his Bachelor’s Degree in 2009. As he was still with the University he played Nemorino in L’Elisir d’amore, Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte and Story Teller in Ntsikana by Henning Wargner. Sacred music performances are Obajah in Elijah and Mozart Requiem. In 2010 he went to Germany to sing in an international festival called Schelswig Holstein Music Festival. THEMBA MASEKO: a PHD candidate of musicology born and raised in Sebokeng Vaal, Gauteng. He obtained his Master of Arts in music at University of Fort Hare in 2022 .He obtained his BMus Honors in Performing Arts at University of Pretoria and his first degree, BTech Degree in Pedagogy at Tshwane University of Technology. His professional experience started as a Vocal Technique Lecturer at the University of Pretoria in 2014 to 2017 then moved to work as a Vocal Technique Lecturer at Tshwane University of Technology in 2017 and in 2022. He worked at The National School of Arts from 2015 to 2022 as a voice teacher. His theatre experience includes being a music director for Broadway on Mele production in 2021 and 2022 under The National School of Arts. Gibson Kente’s Too Late production produced by Johannesburg theatre in 2018. As a performer he specialized in Mozart’s operas and played the role of Tamino in The Magic Flute production by German Rhine Philharmonic orchestra at Joburg theatre 2016, in the University of Technology opera production, 2014 and also a production by William Kentridge in 2007. SIMANGALISO THANGO: Simangaliso Thango was born and bred in a small town called Kwa-Nongoma and later moved to Richards Bay where he formally began his musical journey in a school choir as a tenor soloist. He further went on studying music at the Tshwane University of Technology where he trained with Mr. Thamisanqa Zungu and graduated Cum Laude for his Bachelor of Music. He also holds a B.A. Honours in Arts, Culture and Heritage Management and a Master of Art in Cultural Policy and Management both obtained from The University of the Witwatersrand. During his studies, he took part in the school productions and played a role of Ramiro in (La Cenerentola)- Rossini (2014) as well as the production by W.A Mozart Così fan tutte (2015) where he played a leading role of Ferrando. He deems his voice as the prime asset that sets him apart and has been working as a professional artist for over 10 years. He sang Libiamo with the world renowned Pretty Yende in 2014 at the Linder Auditorium. He also sung on more than 400 shows in Greece where he was based for 2 years as an in-house soloist with Remarc International, and also participated at the local singing competition (Greece Got Talent). Not only is he a freelance artist but also works as an art manager in the public sector and has done so for more than 5 years, within the cultural and creative industries.
