They combine live instrumentation with DJ. It was founded by Tich Makalisa who is a seasoned jazz musician who has performed at festivals such as North Sea Jazz Festival in the Netherlands, London Jazz Festival, Grahamstown Arts Festival amongst many others. Origami produces their own music and will be releasing an album towards the end of 2018. This year, Jacques released an Afrikaans album called Sluit dit oop in the adult contemporary genre. He sings and performs keyboards, guitar, and light percussion in his current live shows, which are accompanied by his own arrangements of pre-recorded orchestration. He has a large repertoire of over 300 songs for various sorts of performances. English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Afrikaans songs are performed. International popular covers range from soft, jazzy to rock and blues.
