Now meet Nicholas Mc Creadie, an accomplished Musician/DJ from Johannesburg. Let him move you with his groovy percussion and exciting mixes. Together they make “Salsa Bomba”, Johannesburg’s new Interactive Salsa Teaching Act. The two are sure to get your blood pumping with their fusion of percussion and dance. Get on your feet by starting with 4 basic salsa steps, culminating in learning an exciting routine and a fun conga line. Let Johannesburg’s new Salsa act, “Salsa Bomba” get you off your chair and shaking what your “Mama” gave you! How it runs : It’s a 30 minute show with up to 3 girls dancing depending on PAX and a live DJ/percussion player. They start with a salsa dance and then we continue with teaching the crowd 4/5 basic salsa moves with music. Then do a routine with all the basic steps that the crowd learns to Pitbull’s Fireball. Ending with an exciting conga line around the function room that everyone joins in on.

We get back to you shortly Event details Gauteng Urban Pantsulas is an Urban Based Crew that choreographs, teaches and lives the Pantsula culture in Alexandra, Gauteng South Africa. Pantsula dance is commonly known as a traditional township dance and mostly used as an entertainment instrument amongst townships youngsters. However, for the Alexandra based youth dance group, Urban Pantsulas this dance is a career and a way of generating income to putbread on the table.Urban Pantsulas is a Pantsula dance group with 11 members that was established on the 18th of March 2014 and registered as a Non-profit Company on the 20th march2018. It was formed by four young intelligent dancers Thabang Ramphisa (22), Milton Tshabalala (21), Doctor Mabunda (23) and Sphelele Ngqulunga who saw the needof initiating such an organisation and wanted something that would keep them away from bad company and substance abuse.This dance group has proved to be one of the best Pantsula groups in the country since its inception and has won major competitions, working contracts and partnerships with big corporations in the country.Our plan is to conquer the world with our talent and encourage young dancers to work hard because we believe that Isipantsula is the most sophisticated and artistic world class dance only found in South Africa. ‘A lot of negativity has been attached to Pantsula culture in Mzansi townships, so we are trying to change this narrative.

< Back Eugene Khoza Gauteng Born and bred in Pretoria, Eugene has advanced in the world of local comedy and can now be found performing all over the country. His growing ethnic fan base has been accredited to his multilingual delivery and his understanding of cultures and being able to engage them all on a humorous level. It is his comedic nature that took him from performing open spots to hosting the popular Horror Café Comedy Night for a year. His rise in the comedy ranks began when he made the semi-finals of M-Net's Laugh Out Loud comedy competition and in the same year won the Ricoffy Comedy Challenge. Those achievements led to him being put on the line-up for Arts Alive 2007 as well as two of the country’s biggest comedy shows: Blacks Only and the Heavyweight Comedy Jam. This led to him co-hosting a show on YFM. He has also done various interviews and appearances on television. Eugene also performs at numerous corporate functions, live shows and club gigs all over the country. Beginning on 10 June 2008, he was the co-host (with Fezile Makhanya and Eugene Khoza) of the SABC1 magazine show Countdown 2010, which aimed to keep South Africans informed and involved in the preparation for the largest sports event ever held on the African continent - the 2010 Soccer World Cup. Pitse was inspired and raised to revere education by her mother and grandmother. Education has continued to be a core value and practice for Ofentse, who graduated with her Master of Architecture from the University Of The Witwatersrand in honor of her late mother, Pearl Matshidiso Pitse. A lover of all things art, Africa, and people, Ofentse has managed to masterfully create a brand that truly reflects her core values, character, people and heart - all of which are vital ingredients for a history-making change agent and rising influential cultural voice and a key player in the orchestral world. Born and raised in the City of Tshwane, it was in the vibrant streets of South Africa’s capital city that Ofentse first discovered and developed her deep love for music. With a family active in the Salvation Army, Ofentse soon found her way to its famous brass band, where she learned to play the English horn, trumpet, flugelhorn and cornet. As her skill improved, so did her range, and she expanded her repertoire from gospel music to classical and jazz. Under the mentorship and tutelage of two of the country’s leading conductors, Thami Zungu and Gerben Grooten, Ofentse transitioned from a musician into her current role as an orchestra conductor and owner of Anchored Sound, a 40-piece orchestra and 25-person strong choir. “I want to drive inclusivity because it’s hard for women to belong in a boardroom or a soundstage. As a Black woman, I have had to learn how to assert myself in male-dominated environments and defend my work and dreams. This is what fuels my vision, my purpose, and my birthright. I want my presence in this space to encourage women who look like me and feel they don’t belong to see that they can, they do, and they must! There is no limit to our potential, capacity, and creativity.”

Hailing from the small town Pietermaritzburg, Kwa-Zulu Natal, he decided to move to Johannesburg where he would complete his BA in Live Performance and continue building his career in the industry hub.
