< Back Brenda Ngxoli Gauteng Brenda Ngxoli is a South African actress best known for her role as Vuvo in the SABC1 drama series Home Affairs, from 2005-2007. She was nominated for an International Emmy award for her role in 2007. She also played the supporting role of Dine on the SABC1 sitcom My Perfect Family, in 2011. Ngxoli completed a BA Theatre and Performers Diploma in Speech and Drama at the University of Cape Town in 2000. Although primarily an actress Brenda has other talents including public speaking, motivational talks and facilitating workshops on issues such as business proposal writing and health etc. Brenda began her acting career in theatre, performing in shows like Pick Ups directed by Chris Weare, Docs Wife, I-Klins, and Sacred Thorn and Yes Medem, both of which were directed by Warona Seane and ran the Grahamstown Festival of the Arts in 2004. < Back Jaqui Carpede Gauteng Jacqui Carpede is a recording artist, actress, dancer, and MC/Speaker who is making waves within the entertainment industry. Jacqui became renowned when she entered an SABC1 reality show called Coca Cola Popstars in 2004. Having teamed up with Mariechan Luiters and Liesl Penniken, the trio placed second in the competition. They then went on to form the group “Jamali” that became extremely popular and the self-titled debut album was certified for gold within weeks. The Jamali album rapidly became platinum with hit singles like “Greatest Love”, “Love me for me” and “Dalile”. The trio recorded 4 albums and was nominated six times at the South African Music Awards and won an award for “Best urban pop” in 2008. Growing up to the humble beginnings in the township of Eldorado Park, Jacqui always dreamt of a successful career in music. BACKGROUND Jacqui Carpede began dancing and singing at the age of 7 years old, her confidence at such a young ageallowed her to enter her first singing competition called “Reach for the Stars‟ or “Keur ryk na die sterre”. At age 14 Jacqui entered the Jam ALLEY “Be a Megastar Competition‟ in 1997. As a runner up she believes she actually won the best prize which was to go on tour with all the local SONY artists at the time.
