Quiet Storm

Quiet Storm is a three-piece band that plays for corporate or private functions, weddings, parties, and shows.
They do a repertoire to please everybody, from young to old and people from all demographics. They have a big repertoire and can adjust according to any audience. The lineup is as follows:
Yolanda Cenge- vocals
Susan Barry- keyboards
Philani Ngidi- bass

Yolanda has performed all over South Africa for various corporate functions as the leader of the Afro Divas. They also performed representing South Africa at the World Games in Scotland.
Yolanda is a beautiful and glamorous performer with a rich, warm voice.

Susan Barry is a winner of a Living Legend Award from Ethekwini Municipality for her contribution to arts and culture in KZN. She also played keyboards for the late great Busi Mhlongo for many years. She toured the world with her and recorded with her in Europe too.

Philani Ngidi is probably the top electric bass player in South Africa. He performed in the top venue in Dubai for years and has recorded and performed with all of South Africa’s great musicians. He was musical director for the late, great, superstar acid jazz guitarist, Ronny Jordan, for his Southern African shows.
