Introducing ALT EGO – South Africa’s brand new, electrify dance act – where violin and guitar fuses with elecroc dance synths and pulsating house beats. ALT EGO’s self titled debut album was released in Jine 2017 and topped the iTunes SA Dance Album Chart on the day of it’s release.

The debut single, Get Wild, has been playlisted on numerous radio stations country wide, and peaked at number 2 on the Goodhope FM Hot 30. A remix of the track, re-imagined by Zambian producer, El Mukuka, was released in Romania in October 2017.

The second single, Embrasse Moi, was shot in collaboration with Sunglass Hut and is scheduled for a November release.

Notable national performances include the EDM Night Nation Run Festival, and the NYE 2017 ampitherte party thrown by the V&A Waterfront. They have alson performed abroad at the prestigous Cafe Opera in Stockholm, Sweden.

Having made our mark on the national scene and abroad during our debut year, ALT EGO has so much potential to explore in the short and long term future.

We have recently signed our first international record deal with Romanian music label CAT Music, a respected label in Europe, where they have worked with headline artists like Edward Maya, who made his mark with hit single “Stereo Love”. After launching the “Get Wild” remix music video, we received over 60 000 views on YouTube during the opening weeks.
