Ain't Love A Kick In the Head, is a 45 minute musical comedy review show that takes place in the living room of George (played by Kevin Otto) and Jeanie (played by Caely-Jo Levy) in anywhere Hollywood 1949!

George and Jeanie are joined by their talented neighbour Hugh (played by Kurt Haupt) who plays the piano like a dream! Together, the three of them bring you all the golden oldies you love and adore linked together with some fun comedy routines!

A perfect dose of morning entertainment that will leave you smiling!

Kevin Otto

Kevin is an American actor with years of experience!  Kevin has  appeared in many local and international films and series Warrior, Slipstream, Chappie, Theodore Roosevelt and the upcoming Good luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die  to name a few  and has appeared in many local and international commercials (some award winning ones to boast!) 

Kevin has also performed in numerous stage and theatre performances from Pieter Torien.

Creating Aint Love A Kick In the Pants and bringing George and Jeanie together is a dream come true

Caely-Jo Levy

Caely-Jo Levy is what they call a triple threat with over 3 decades of experience in both theatre, film and TV! She has performed in many musicals, such as We Will Rock You, Greece, Sound Of Music, Die Van Aardes Van Groot Oor to name a few and has recently stared in a local TV series White Lies and local films such as, The Shakedown, Niemandsdorp, A Scam Called Love. Levy also is the front person for two bands, Playing With Fire and Yid-ish. You may recognise her face from many commercials both local and international.

Kurt Haupt

Kurt’s musical journey has taken him from the operatic stages of South Africa to iconic musical theatre productions across the globe. Mentored by Prof. Albie van Schalkwyk and Prof. Virginia Davids at UCT, Kurt’s talents quickly led him to standout roles, including Tony in West Side Story and Dr. Frank N. Furter in The Rocky Horror Show. Touring internationally, he performed in highly acclaimed productions such as Yiimimangaliso – The Mysteries and The Phantom of the Opera. Having performed the role of Mary Sunshine in Chicago for over a decade, Kurt has also served as a judge on the Kyknet Fiestas panel. His passion for performance extends behind the scenes and has seen him share his talents as a repetiteur at Cape Town Opera and Assistant Musical Director on Beauty and the Beast. Most recently, as a vocal coach and accompanist at Luitingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy, he dedicates himself to shaping the future stars of the stage, blending his vast experience into every lesson he imparts.
