SPIRITUAL SINGERS is an 18 vocal ensemble in total, accompanied by dancers and a 5 piece band showcasing our diverse Spiritual African Music & Diaspora to the World and its diverse forms.
The Choir was formed to celebrate our “Unity in Diversity” as a Nation, showcasing our cultures and traditions in an energetic performance accompanied by dance, ululating, and exhilarating towering of Joy.
We collaborated (Recorded) and performed 2010 FIFA theme Song “Sign of a Victory” with R. Kelly at the Opening Ceremony for 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup in Johannesburg.
We have for the past 4 years extensively toured UK and Europe.We just recently recorded a soundtrack for the Broadway Hit Production “the Lion King with Mr Lebo M.
Soweto Spiritual Singers is an internationally-acclaimed touring production choir that has enjoyed ‘sold out’ shows across Europe, UK, and Africa, making a name for themselves as one the best vocal/choral outfits to come out of South Africa.
This 22 all-inclusive vocal ensemble, together with a 5-piece band & African Dancers and Drummers, present a spectacular show with acrobatic dances and powerful African harmonies, producing a style of music that is classified ‘World Music’
