Founded by siblings, Nkululeko Vilakazi & Vicky Vilakazi SOWETO AFRO-POP OPERA is an internationally acclaimed 6 male vocal ensemble accompanied by 4 string quartet (2 violins, viola, cello) and a 4 piece band, 15 members in total.


Performing Fresh and Vibrant fusion of African traditional standards, folk and popular Classical and Motown Jazz;



This group was so popular at Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was dubbed South African IL DIVO by leading theater critics.Receiving 4 /5 Star ratings!
